The style of the reception was rustic royal- as it was held on the farm Jennifer grew up on. The wedding took place in a pre-civil war church on the same road as the farm. A vintage red carpet led the guests and bridal party into the 1937 barn. Two royal (homemade by father of bride) tents flanked the royal carpet. One was a gift tent, the other the guest book tent. The guest book tent also had a 212 year old Bible displayed for all to view with a vintage magnifying glass over the verse. Victorian furniture and decor decorated the outside of barn while inside  chandelier's and candelabras collected from all over the world set the royal mood. The first dance was danced on the very spot where the bride used to jump from the loft into the hay when she was a little girl. The reception food was made by the family. It was all organic, some grown on the Glasgow Farm. The wedding favors were Homemade Raspberry Marshmallows(inspired by Martha Stewart) dipped in chocolate, wrapped in tulle, ribbons and with a card message. The  three ft tall wedding cake (was lowered from the barn ceiling for the re-veil. It was breathtaking! Turkey’s were lured into the barn (reception) by children, as parents and grandparents watched in awe at the sheer delight of farm life at a wedding. Entertainment was never ending with goats,  horse, chickens- while children and adults alike watched thousands of fireflies magically dance over the field. It was a spectacular sight, almost competing with the grand finale of fireworks and sparklers.
